Accuracy and its limits
The math is exact
Planetary positions are calculated using the Swiss Ephemeris with Lahiri ayanamsa. These calculations are accurate to within published astronomical tolerances when the birth time and place provided are themselves accurate.
The inputs are not always exact
A birth time rounded to the nearest hour produces measurably less precise lagna and dasha results than a birth time accurate to the minute. We cannot validate the accuracy of the birth details you submit; that responsibility rests with you.
The interpretation is probabilistic
The interpretive text in every report is generated by a large language model. The model is given the calculated planetary data as input, but the interpretation is probabilistic and may occasionally contain phrasings that differ between generations. No guarantee of outcome
We do not guarantee that any remedies, gemstone recommendations, mantras, or spiritual practices suggested in a report will produce a specific outcome. Cultural and religious sensitivity
AIJathakam is built with respect for the Vedic and Kerala Jyotisham traditions. Where mantras and prayer texts appear in the application — for example in the loading animation — they are hardcoded from verified sources and are not generated by AI. We do this to avoid hallucinated devotional text in Indic scripts.
